An important meeting of the Defense Department will be held today

- All three military chiefs, including the COD, will be present

- The issue of tension with China will be discussed

New Delhi Dated 11th September 2020 Friday

It was learned that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was holding an important meeting at 11 a.m. today in the wake of ongoing tensions with China on the Ladakh border. The meeting will be attended by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Chief of the Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat and heads of the three wings of the Indian Army.

At a time when China is playing the role of negotiator and on the other hand is increasing its military strength on the border, what kind of preparation India should have is to be discussed in today's meeting. It may be recalled here that the Raphael aircraft, which arrived from France yesterday and was armed, joined the Indian Air Force.

After assessing the situation in Ladakh from time to time, Rajnath Singh will also know the opinion of the heads of the three wings of the army. Today's meeting was also to discuss India's defense policy and how we should deal with China's move. Despite constant diplomatic discussions with China, China is not ready to withdraw from the Ladakh border. On the contrary, it has deployed 50,000 troops and 150 fighter jets on its border with India. On the other hand, it was also attacking the Indian border with Pakistan, Nepal and Tibet. In such circumstances, what military action India will take will be discussed in today's meeting. COD General Bipin Rawat had earlier said that we were ready to take military action if the talks failed. India will try to avoid war until it happens.

India kept our troops in check by occupying all the important places in the war, including the black top and the helmet top. Most of China's posts were now in the direct firing range of Indian troops. At the same time, if China goes to war, it does not rule out the possibility of inflicting the greatest damage on itself.
