After meeting Fadnavis and Raut, Sharad Pawar now met Uddhav Thackeray

Mumbai, Ta. 27 September 2020, Sunday

NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Sunday called on Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. The meeting between the two leaders came just a day after Devendra Fadnavis and Sanjay Raut met. The meeting between former chief minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut sparked a political heat. There was also a lot of speculation. Since then, the visit of Thackeray and Sharad Pawar has added to the suspense. The meeting between the two leaders took place at the Chief Minister's residence. The visit is reported to have lasted 40 minutes. However, neither of the two leaders made any statement in this regard.

According to sources, the two discussed the future unlocking process and Corona's position in the state. It may be mentioned that a few days ago, there were reports that tensions were running high in the Shiv Sena-NCP alliance in Maharashtra. For the second day in a row, such a visit has heated up speculation and rumors.

However, amid discussions that erupted after a meeting between Fadnavis and Sanjay Raut yesterday, the two leaders clarified that the meeting was non-political. Devendra Fadnavis said the BJP has no intention of joining hands with the Shiv Sena or overthrowing the Uddhav government. The visit was related to an interview for Shiv Sena spokesperson Saamna.
