A quantity of weapons including Chinese-made guns was seized from the border in Ferozepur

The army seized a large quantity of weapons, including Chinese-made guns, near the village of New Ghazniwala on the Indo-Pakistan border. Also from Jammu and Kashmir, two militants belonging to the militant group Tehreek-e-Mujahideen were caught infiltrating weapons. These weapons were being smuggled across the border into India.

BSF personnel seized a large quantity of weapons from the Indo-Pakistan border near Ferozepur in Punjab. BSF personnel seized three AK-47s, two M-16s and guns from a farm.

A bag full of weapons, including Chinese-made guns, was found. It was being smuggled into India from Pakistan. Military officials said the weapons were sent to deliver to militants operating in India.

Meanwhile, arms smuggling was also nabbed from Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir. Two Tehreek-e-Mujahideen militants were also arrested. A terrorist was nabbed during a search operation from Pulwama. Security forces began questioning him.

On the other hand, the Pak army's Napak army fired indiscriminately on the Jammu and Kashmir border. In Mankota and Gulpur sectors in Jammu and Kashmir, the Pakistani army continued to shell. A spokesman for the defense ministry said Indian troops had also responded to the shelling targeting Indian outposts and border villages.
