New delhi date. Saturday 5 September 2020

Indian Railways is now preparing to completely change the train timetable. For the new timetable, the railways is preparing to close about 500 trains and close 10,000 stops. This timetable will be applied after the corona virus is eliminated.

Trains will continue in Corona as before. According to media reports, after the change in the timetable, the revenue of the railways will increase by Rs 1,500 crore annually.

According to the Railway Ministry's conclusion, fares and other charges will be increased without an estimated revenue of Rs 1,500 crore. Other operational policies, including this time table, will also be changed.

Occupancy train networks of less than 50 percent annually will not find a place. This train will be merged with another train if required. The train known for this will be selected.

Long distance trains will not be given a stop before 200 km. There may be a stoppage if a major city arrives at this time. Railways is preparing to close a total of 10000 stoppages.

Each passenger train will run on a hub and spoke model. Cities with a population of 10 lakh or more will become hubs. These cities will have long distance train stops. The small station will be connected to another train from the hub. This will happen according to the timetable. Apart from this, major tourist destinations will also get hub status.

The new timetable will not affect sub-urban networks like Mumbai Local. The new timetable would be rational for the rolling stock available to the railways. The train will have 22 LHB coaches or 24 integral coat factory coaches.
