Trump had to be evacuated after firing near the White House

Trump was immediately evacuated after the firing near the White House. The shooting happened outside the White House while Trump was addressing the media. The attacker was shot dead by Secret Service officials. Trump said the situation was under control.

The firing took place outside the White House. At the time, US President Donald Trump was addressing the media. Trump himself reported the sudden firing to the media. Authorities then escorted Trump to safety.

Trump told the media the details of the shooting as officials instructed him to get off the podium. A few minutes later Trump appeared in front of the media again and he announced that the situation is now under control.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a U.S. military base. However, the White House did not provide further details. The attacker was rushed to hospital. Journalists asked Trump about his whereabouts and identity, but Trump said he was still being investigated.

Trump praised Secret Service officials. Trump said it proved once again that Secret Service officers work diligently. Those present outside the White House claimed that the unidentified youth fired twice. He was immediately shot by Secret Service officers and taken to hospital shortly afterwards.
