The five players, including Rohit Sharma and Vinesh Fogat, will be honored with the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award.

Along with Indian batsman Rohit Sharma, para-athlete Mariappan Thangavelu, table tennis champion Manika Batra, wrestler Vinesh Fogat and women's hockey captain Rani Rampal will be honored with the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award.

Apart from this, there are 27 players including cricketers Ishant Sharma and Dipti Sharma, athlete Duti Chand, shooter Manu Bhakar who will be honored with the Arjuna Award.

On Sports Day on August 29, President Ramnath Kovind will present sports awards other than Khel Ratna.
