Sushant Rajput suicide case: 'This is a conspiracy to trap Aditya Thackeray' - Sanjay Raut

Shiv Sena leader-cum-journalist Sanjay Raut said a conspiracy was being hatched to implicate state government minister and youth wing leader Aditya Thackeray in Sushant's untimely death. Aditya has nothing to do with this incident. Without naming anyone, Raut said the fact that a Shiv Sena government was formed in Maharashtra was still not tolerated by many.

He added that those who were plotting to implicate Aditya Thackeray in the Sushant scandal would have to pay a heavy price. The case was handed over to the CBI as part of the conspiracy. However, neither Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray nor Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has formally said anything about the handing over of the Sushant case to the CBI. However, Home Ministry sources said, "We are keeping a close eye on the whole incident."

BJP MP Subramanian Swamy and BSP president Mayawati also appealed for handing over the case to the CBI. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi also insisted on a CBI probe.

Accepting Sushant's father KK Singh's request, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had requested the Center to hand over the case to the CBI. Political observers believe that Aditya Thackeray's involvement in the incident was a ploy to create a rift between the Shiv Sena and its two allies in the state, the Congress and the NCP.

Shiv Sena is believed to be cautious in this regard. Shiv Sena spokesperson Manata Sanjay Raut, in his first statement on the issue, alleged that we are aware of the conspiracy to implicate Shiv Sena's wing Yuva Sena leader Aditya Thackeray.
