Moscow, Ta. Thursday 13 August 2020

Russia's Corona virus has come under fire amid questions over the vaccine. The trial of the third phase of the Russia Covid-19 vaccine will take place in the Philippines between October and March. Philippine presidential spokesman Harry Roque said on Thursday that the clinical trial of the third phase of Russia's corona vaccine would take place in the Philippines from October to March.

This news is important because Russia has annoyed the whole world by announcing that it has developed corona vaccine even before the third phase trial. However, with the third phase of the vaccine pending trial, questions are being raised around the world.

The question is why Russia's corona vaccine is being raised on Sputnik-V

According to a newspaper, the spokesman also said that the Russian government would fund the trial of the vaccine. Thousands of patients will be vaccinated to check the efficiency and safety of the vaccine.

The spokesman said Manila hopes the Philippine Food and Drug Administration will approve the Russian-made vaccine by April 2021. The vaccine was developed by Russia's Gamalya Research Institute and the Ministry of Defense. The vaccine is called Sputnik V, which was registered on Tuesday. Russia's President Vladimir Putin has announced that the vaccine has passed all necessary tests.

The Corona vaccine is named after Russia's first satellite, Sputnik 1, built in 1957. Russian officials said that Russia will market in foreign markets under the name 'Sputnik V'. Russia says the first vaccinations for health workers will begin next month. Senior citizens will then be vaccinated.

At the same time, Russia has become the first country to develop a vaccine against the corona virus. Russia's Finance Minister Kirill Dmitryk said more than 20 countries had ordered more than a billion doses of the vaccine.
