Pakistan violates ceasefire in Poonch sector, Indian Army responds harshly

Pakistan's nefarious moves on the Jammu and Kashmir border are still ongoing. Pakistan violated the ceasefire in the Mankot sector of Poonch district and is being met with a stern response from the Indian Army.

High alert on North Kashmir LoC

A high alert has been issued by Pakistan for violating the ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) adjacent to North Kashmir. All soldiers and officers have also been directed to respond to Pakistan's nefarious moves on the LOC.

Pakistan on Friday opened fire at several places in the Baniar sector of Baramulla district, along with the Naugam, Tangdhar and Karnah sectors of Kupwara district. Six people, including a woman, were injured and a civilian later succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.

The Pakistani army targeted the army building and MKR post in Naugam sector at 5:30 am on Friday from Mandakoli, Pocket Complex and German Complex areas. Indian troops also responded to Pakistan's firing.

Then at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, the Pakistani army targeted an army net and another post in the Boniar sector. Pakistan fired mortars at the Karnah side from the Mirpur sector at 11:30 a.m. which landed in Rangwad, Chowkibal and Wilgam areas. Residential areas were also targeted. Six people, including a woman, were injured in the attack and the woman died.
