Open up China to the international arena, Congress appealed to the central government

New Delhi dated 10 August 2020 Monday

Concerned over reports that China has built an artificial lake towards Tibet, the Congress party has appealed to the central government to take China to the International Court of Justice. This artificial lake can cause severe floods in Arunachal Pradesh at any time. The Congress party further said that the floods were likely to cause loss of life and property to thousands of people.

Congress spokesperson and top legislator Manu Abhishek Singhvi said that boasts like fifty-six chests and red eyes are being slapped but no steps are being taken to stop China from creating more and more problems day by day. Singhvi, citing media reports, said China was building an artificial lake on the Yarlung Sangpo River. On the other hand, hundreds of Chinese troops are present in Depsang, Ladakh, on the other hand, China has claimed ownership of some Indian territories. Yet the central government does nothing concrete, only talks big. The fear from China is increasing day by day and the lives of the citizens are getting higher.

He said that the artificial lake on the Yarlung Sangpo river is right above Arunachal Pradesh, so if a crack as big as a hair falls in the lake, a water bomb could strike Arunachal Pradesh at any time. This possibility cannot be overlooked.

The central government makes big talk but is silent on this confrontation with China. Is there a private agreement with China or is the government frightened by China's strength?
