In Uttar Pradesh, there was another incident of police attacking a suspect and grabbing a police pistol. According to a police spokesperson, police had gone to Kachua village in Saini area of ​​Kaushambi on Wednesday night to investigate a burglary incident. One suspect was to be apprehended. At that time, there was a scuffle between the police and the villagers and according to the police, the villagers attacked the police team to rescue the suspect.

A total of two persons, including an officer, were injured in the attack and the accused fled after grabbing the pistol of the officer concerned.

The burglary took place in more than one house within the limits of Kadadham police station. Based on the information given to the police by the informant, the police went to raid Kachua village. During the raid, police arrested a young man named Sintu. That is why Sintuni's mother Phoolkali and dozens of women attacked the police with sticks, bricks and stones. An inspector and a constable were seriously injured in the attack. The assailants also snatched a police pistol and a mobile phone. Both policemen escaped unhurt.

It is pertinent to recall that the police were attacked in this manner in Bikru village of Kanpur last month. Police went to Bikru to arrest gangster Vikas Dubey.

Vikas Dubey along with his gang attacked the police in which eight policemen were killed. The police then caught him near a temple in Ujjain and encountered him.

In the last few years, criminals in Uttar Pradesh have been on the rise and the incidence of attacks on police has been on the rise.
