Jodhpur: Bodies of 11 Pakistani refugees found on farm, suspected of murder

A tragic incident has taken place in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Eleven people have been killed in the village of Dechuna. Their bodies have been found on the farm. The dead have been reported to have been displaced from Pak. All these people belonged to the same family and were working in agriculture in Echlavata village. There are fears of murder in this incident.

Fear has spread that 11 members of the same family have been killed in a village within the limits of the Dechu police station in Jodhpur. Police from the surrounding villages received information of the incident and when they reached the spot, they seized the bodies of 11 people and a young man was found injured. Police have admitted him to a nearby government hospital.

The deceased are 2 men, 4 women, 5 children. According to preliminary information, the crop died. The displaced belong to the Bhil community and some time ago all the people came to Jodhpur from Pakistan. All these people were working on tubewells in the village farms and lived in the huts built nearby. The primary cause of death has been found to be poisoning or pesticide use.

The cause of death is not yet known. Based on the information, police and officials including Jodhpur Rural SP have reached the spot and investigation is underway by the FSL team. The Rural SPA of Jodhpur informed about this matter.
