Jammu and Kashmir: Terrorist attack on BJP worker in Budgam, shot in the stomach

A BJP activist was attacked by militants in Jammu and Kashmir. BJP workers were injured in the attack on Sunday. Attacks on BJP workers in different parts of Kashmir have been on the rise for several days.

A BJP activist was injured when militants opened fire on him in Budgam district of central Kashmir. According to sources, the militants attacked BJP activist Abdul Hamid Nazar. The injured activist is a resident of Mehidpora. Whose father's name is Jamal Njar.

According to sources, the militants opened fire on the spot near the railway station while they were on a morning walk. BJP workers have been injured in the firing. The worker has been shot in the stomach. Soon after the incident, Abdul Hamid Nazar was admitted to SMHS Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

News of terror attacks on some BJP sarpanches in Kashmir has been coming to light. On August 6, BJP sarpanch Sajad Ahmed was attacked by terrorists in Vessu village in Qazigund block of Kulgam district. The sarpanch was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Seeing these incidents, some BJP leaders are resigning from the party and the post. In the last few days, four BJP leaders in Jammu and Kashmir have resigned. The BJP sarpanch from Kulgam's Devsar resigned three days ago. Earlier, BJP leaders Sabzar Ahmed Padar, Nisar Ahmed Wani and Ashiq Hussain Pala had resigned from the party.

The reason for the BJP leaders' resignation is said to be the deadly attack on sarpanches in Kulgam. Sabzar Ahmed Padar, Nisar Ahmed Wani and Ashiq Hussain Pala left the BJP for personal reasons and declared that they no longer had any connection with the BJP.
