ISIS militant caught in Delhi, clashes with police on Dhaula Kuan Ring Road

A clash between police and Jaish-e-Muhammad militants was reported on Dhaula Kuan Ring Road in the capital New Delhi and a militant named Abu Yusuf Khan was captured alive.

Police launched the operation on Friday night based on earlier reports. Two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and other weapons were recovered from Yusuf. Police had earlier received information that three Jaish militants had infiltrated the capital New Delhi and were preparing for a major terrorist attack.

The terrorists did Reiki in many places in the capital. His target was a nobleman who has not yet been identified. Clashes with terrorists continued even as this was being written. Pramod Singh Kushwaha, DCP, Special Cell, Delhi Police, said two IEDs and other weapons were recovered from a terrorist named Yusuf, who was caught during the encounter. Some other people may be arrested based on the information received from him.
