India deploys troops equipped with portable missiles on China border

New delhi date. Tuesday, August 25, 2020

China does not want to retreat on the Ladakh border. Under these circumstances, India has started preparing options, including military. India has begun to deploy one weapon after another in response to China's ever-increasing military activity.

Now India has arranged to equip a portable missile at the Ladakh Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China. Portable missiles can be fired with the shoulder and are mainly used to shoot down low-altitude helicopters or aircraft.

China's military activity across the border is on the rise and is being communicated to Indian defense forces through satellite images and other surveillance. That is why India has deployed troops there with so-called shoulder fired air defense system.

The team's job is to carry a missile on its shoulder and fire when someone violates Indian airspace. In military parlance, this weapon is also called Man Portable Air Defense System (MPADS). The missile is small in size, light in weight and its range is not more than five-six kilometers.

India uses a Russian-made MPADS system called Igla. In addition to the Indian Army, the Indian Air Force also uses this defense system. India has increased the number of radars on the LAC and surveillance is on in other ways.

This is because Chinese military helicopters regularly fly across the border and even try to cross the border if given the chance. In that case, it would be easier to fire MPADS instead of a large air-to-surface missile to destroy the helicopter immediately.

Germany will not give submarine equipment to Pakistan!

The German Chancellor Angela Merkel's government has refused to provide Pakistan with an air-independent propulsion system for submarines. The system can stay underwater for weeks after being fitted to a submarine. The submarine can remain hidden as long as the water is down. Such a system is necessary so that air does not have to come to the surface. Pakistan proposed to buy the system from Germany. Germany has considered it and refused to sell the system to Pakistan. This is a major blow to Pakistan's Imran Khan government and a testament to its reputation in the world. The Indian Navy already has such a home-made system.
