'If the disease is reported in 72 hours, the risk is less': PM's big statement in Corona's case

- Experience so far that the most effective weapon against containment, contact, tracing and surveillance corona

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held a virtual meeting with the chief ministers of 10 states on the Korona virus crisis. He said the number of testing has increased to 7 lakh per day and is steadily increasing. This is helping to identify and prevent the transition. Even before our average mortality rate there was much lower than in the world and the satisfaction is that it is constantly going down. The recovery rate is also steadily rising which means that our efforts are paying off.

"People's confidence has increased and Corona's fears have decreased," he said. Try to achieve our goal of bringing the mortality rate down to less than one percent. The Prime Minister also praised the health bridge application. He said the app is helping to track infected patients. The risk is reduced if the disease is reported within 72 hours.

The Prime Minister said that today 80 per cent of the active cases are from 10 states and therefore the role of these states in the fight against Corona is very big. Today, the number of active cases in the country has crossed 6 lakh. In states where the testing rate is low and where the positivity rate is high, there is a need to increase testing. Particularly in Bihar, Gujarat, UP, West Bengal and Telangana, the emphasis is on increasing testing.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed the Corona virus issue with the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Punjab, Bihar, Gujarat, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh through video conferencing. This was Prime Minister Modi's seventh meeting with state chief ministers in the last five months.

"Our experience so far is that containment, contact, tracing and surveillance are the most effective weapons against corona," the prime minister said. Now the public is also understanding this and people are cooperating.
