Police have arrested seven youths for gangraping a woman in Kangra area of ​​Himachal Pradesh under the pretext of giving her a lift in a vehicle. The seven-year-old pinched the woman like an animal after he put her in his car under the pretext of giving her a lift.

The woman was waiting for a bus at a bus stand when she was seduced by people in a passing car. He was then taken to a farmhouse in a deserted area and gang-raped. He was then taken to a hotel in the McLeodganj area and raped again.

The woman dared to file a police complaint. Superintendent of Police Sunil Rana said the woman was living alone with her three children due to differences with her husband. Based on the information he provided, seven youths living in a nearby village were arrested. The woman was undergoing a medical test and was awaiting trial.

Such incidents are rare in Himachal Pradesh in general and Kangra in particular, so there was a stir when the incident was reported. Police had registered a case against seven youths under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.
