Former cricketer and minister in the Yogi government Chetan Chauhan dies

Home Guard Minister and former cricketer Chetan Chauhan has passed away in the Uttar Pradesh government. He died at 4.30am due to cardiac arrest. He was undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. They were also infected with corona.

Chetan Chauhan, 73, has been in critical condition for several days. He had kidney failure. Due to which they were kept on life support system. His Corona report came back positive in July. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath mourned his demise. Apart from this, BJP MP and former cricketer Gautam Gambhir also expressed grief over his demise.
