Double murder in Lucknow: Wife and son shot dead at railway official's house

A double murder has taken place in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. A double murder in the Vela VVIP Gautampally area near the Chief Minister's residence in Lucknow has caused a stir in the city. The perpetrators broke into the house of a senior railway official and shot dead his wife and son. Police teams have reached the spot after the incident. Officers including the DGP have also reached the spot. The city has been cordoned off and the search for the culprits has begun.

According to information received, the incident took place at the official residence of RD Bajpayee, a senior railway official living in the area in Gautampally. On Saturday afternoon, criminals broke into his house and shot and killed Malati and Sharad Dutt. At about 3:30 p.m., servants reported the matter to police. The double murder at the home of a senior railway official sent rights, including the police commissioner, into a tailspin. Police have sent both bodies for postmortem.

It is to be mentioned that big ministers and officials live in Gautampally area. The Raj Bhavan is also within 100 meters of the Chief Minister's residence. Due to which the security system of this area is also good. However, the accused have perpetrated the incident. Police have now launched an investigation into every possibility.
