Controversy over quarantining a Bihar police officer who came to investigate Sushant's case in Mumbai

The Bihar and Maharashtra governments have come face to face over the issue of Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case. Controversy has erupted over the quarantine of a Bihar investigating officer in Mumbai. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar termed the incident as inappropriate. Sushant's father had also accused the Mumbai police of being inactive.

The Bihar government had alleged that Vinay Tiwari, an IPS officer who had arrived in Mumbai from Bihar to investigate the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case, was forcibly quarantined amid allegations that the Mumbai police did not co-operate with the Bihar police.

Bihar Police DGP Gupteswar Pandey tweeted that Investigating Officer Vinay Tiwari had reached Mumbai and was immediately quarantined by BMC officials in Mumbai. Vinay Tiwari arrived in Mumbai to lead the investigation team.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar issued a statement after the incident. The Bihar Chief Minister said that what happened to Vinay Tiwari was not right at all. Expressing displeasure, Nitish Kumar said that the matter was not fair. I will talk to the DGP to work out the next strategy.

Mumbai Police Commissioner Paramvir Singh, on the other hand, said in the inquiry that Sushant's father, three sisters, had not expressed any suspicion when he made a statement to the Mumbai police on June 16. If Sushant's family had not raised any questions at that time, then suddenly what questions are being raised?
