‘BMC and Mumbai police have gone mad’, Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam

Mumbai 3rd August 2020 Monday

Veteran Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam said the BMC and Mumbai police have gone mad. Nirupam was speaking in connection with the BMC quarantining Patna SP Vinay Tiwari, who had come to investigate the case of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Knowing this news, Sanjay Nirupam tweeted this morning that it seems that Mumbai Police and BMC have gone mad. How will the case be investigated if the police officer investigating Sushant Singh Rajput's case is kept in quarantine till August 15? In fact, by releasing Tiwari, the Mumbai police should help him in the investigation. If not, the suspicion that the Mumbai police is getting wet in the case will be confirmed.

It is noteworthy here that Maharashtra is ruled by Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP. According to unconfirmed reports, Shiv Sena leader and state minister Aditya Thackeray is involved in the case, so the state government does not want to hand over the case to the CBI. On the other hand, Shiv Sena Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday directed the Mumbai Police Commissioner to file a criminal case against the news TV channels for revealing Aditya's name.

Sanjay Nirupam said that the Chief Minister of the state should immediately intervene in the matter to release the SP of Patna.

Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that what happened in Mumbai with the SP of Patna police was not right. In fact, there was a picture of tension between the Mumbai Police and the Bihar Police in this case. The fact that actress Riya Chakraborty went underground with the arrival of Bihar police also raises suspicions that she was being harassed by the Mumbai police due to pressure from above.
