Employees say hateful posting on virtual platforms has led to increased violence and tension in the real world.

A report in the Wall Street Journal, a leading US newspaper, said that BJP leader T.K. Raj said in his post that Rohingya Muslims should be shot. He called Muslims traitors and threatened to demolish mosques. Facebook employees opposed the post, calling it against the company's rules. However, Facebook employees in India did not take any action on the post.
