A fire broke out in a factory in Noida and a security guard was burnt to death

A fire broke out at a factory in Noida Sector-63 near Delhi last night in which a security guard was killed in a blaze. As soon as the incident was reported, fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and put out the fire but the security guards could not be rescued.

According to a police report, a fire broke out at a ball pen factory at Sector-63, Phase-3, Noida Thana area at around 2 pm on Sunday. As soon as the fire was reported, 13 fire trucks rushed to the spot and after a struggle of about three hours, the fire was brought under control. A security guard posted at the scene died of burns in the accident.

Arun Kumar Singh, Chief Officer, Fire Brigade, said that HM Twist Containers Pvt. Ltd. A fire broke out Sunday night at a factory that makes ball pens by name and spread to all three floors of the building.

In the accident, 23-year-old guard Sandeep Kumar was caught in the fire and died due to burns. Police have seized the body of the deceased and sent it for postmortem and an investigation is underway to find the cause of the fire.

A team from the forensic department has also reached the spot and top officials of the district administration and police are also present there. An investigation is also underway into whether fire extinguishers were working at the time of the accident.
