The US Congress praised India for banning Chinese apps

Washington, July 16, 2020, Thursday

The US Congress has lauded India's ban on 59 Chinese apps, including TickTalk, following China's betrayal of India on the Ladakh front.

At the same time, Congress has written a letter to President Donald Trump urging him to crack down on Chinese apps and websites, just like in India, for the safety of American citizens.

In a letter to Trump, the lawmakers said India has taken the initiative to inspire the world by banning Chinese apps for security. Which is as dangerous to America's security as India's.

In the letter, lawmakers urged Trump to take decisive action to protect the privacy and security of the American people.

It is believed that in the next few weeks, the US may announce a ban on Chinese apps like India. The US has given such a signal.

Earlier, the US Secretary of State had said that the US, like India, could ban tick talk because the Chinese Communist Party was collecting data on American citizens.
