The sale of alcohol and non-veg will be banned in Ayodhya

Lucknow, July 8, 2020, Wednesday

The sale of non-veg and liquor is likely to be banned in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama.

After a letter written to the President by Saint Paramahansa of the ascetic camp in Ayodhya, the government has now become serious about this matter. Rashtrapati Bhavan has directed the government to take appropriate action in this matter.

Sant Paramahansa Das said, "In 2018, I demanded a ban on the sale of non-veg and liquor in Ayodhya and Mathura. If the government does not comply with this demand, I will go on a hunger strike in 2021. Ayodhya should be freed from mass alcohol. Selling did not take place, non-wage sales began after the arrival of the Mughals.

Praising the President's response to the demand, Paramahansa said, "His actions show that the President is sensitive to religion."

Not only the saints of Ayodhya but most of the people also believe that the sale of liquor and non-veg here seems to have put a trash can next to a clean place. The whole atmosphere stinks from its sale. Anti-social elements contaminate the religious atmosphere.
