The monsoon session of Parliament is likely to be held in late August or early September

The government is considering the possibility of a monsoon session of parliament in the last week of August or the first week of September. In which the member is present during the proceedings. Sources gave this information on Wednesday. However no final decision has been made due to Corona's condition and it will be difficult to clarify how the session will be organized following social distances.

The sources also said that the extent of the session and the method of its planning would depend on the current situation. However, the government intends to hold a full session. There are many ordinances that need to be introduced in Parliament for which the session will be of general limit. A senior government official said the monsoon session of Parliament would definitely start before September 22 as there could not be a gap of more than six months between the two sessions.

Parliament's budget session was scheduled for April 3, but was adjourned indefinitely on March 23. Many options are being considered, sources said. One of the options is that the Lok Sabha sits in the Central Hall while the Rajya Sabha sits in the Lok Sabha.
