Start Unlock 2.0 from today, find out where the strict rules are and how to get a discount

On the one hand, the number of new cases of Corona virus in the country is constantly increasing and with that, Unlock 2.0 is starting from today. The Government of India has issued guidelines for this and this phase will run from 1st July to 31st July. The lockdown lasted for about four months in the country and is now being unlocked in phases. Many activities were allowed in Unlock 1.0 and have been extended to Unlock 2.0 since then.

Big and important changes of Unlock 2.0

- The number of flights and trains will be increased from today. So far these services were continued in limited numbers but now the number is likely to be doubled.

- From now on there will be night curfew from 10 pm to 5 am. Earlier this time was 9 to 5.

- More than five people can gather in the shops but it will have to follow the rules of social distance.

- The training institutes of the Central and State Governments will be able to start functioning from July 15.

So many things will still be closed

- Schools and colleges will remain closed till July 31. The next decision will be taken after consultation with the state governments.

Apart from this, the government is cracking down on all containment zones. Only necessary activities are allowed here and as few people as possible are allowed to exit. Testing will also be enhanced in the containment zone. It may be mentioned that earlier in Unlock 1.0, it was allowed to open religious places, malls etc.

In his address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "People in Unlock have become careless but we have to give up this carelessness." In such circumstances people should strictly follow the rules.
