Rajasthan riots 'final', decision of the High Court today on the petition of the pilot group

New delhi date. 24 July 2020, Friday

Rajasthan's politics has been in turmoil for the last several days and today is its final. The Rajasthan High Court will announce its decision today on the plea of Sachin Pilot and other rebel MLAs. During the last hearing, the court restrained the Speaker of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from taking any action against the rebels. The Speaker then turned his attention to the Supreme Court but the Supreme Court also refused to avoid the High Court hearing. All eyes are now on the High Court.

What will be the future of the pilot group?

Sachin Pilot and his associates, who had revolted against the party, had resorted to the court after receiving a notice from the speaker. Congress complained to the Speaker about not attending the assembly party meeting and the Speaker sent a notice. The court reserved its decision during the hearing of the case and at the same time asked the speaker not to take any action. The verdict will be announced at 10:30 am today.

The case reached the Supreme

Rajasthan Speaker CP Joshi's order not to take a decision by the High Court was considered a violation of the Constitution. According to the claim made by CP Joshi, the court cannot interfere in the proceedings of the Speaker till a decision is taken. However, the Supreme Court refused to avoid the High Court hearing even after several hours of hearing. According to the apex court, this is only a matter of one day, first let the decision of the high court come, now the matter will be heard on Monday.

Whose claim is it?

In fact, as claimed by the pilot group, they are raising their voices by staying in the party and the whip does not apply to the party seat. It is only for the House of Assembly. While the rebels, according to the Gehlot group, violated the party's rules, they tried to form a government with the BJP which shows that they do not want to stay with the party.

On the one hand, all eyes are on the High Court order, on the other hand, Ashok Gehlot's government is considering convening an assembly session soon. The session will be convened soon as announced by Chief Minister Gehlot on Thursday, he has a majority and all the legislators are with him.
