Proud of India standing tall against China: US senator lauds

The way in which India has confronted China during the tensions with China on the Ladakh front has also impressed US politicians.

"I am very proud of the way in which Indian PM Modi is standing firm against China. I hope that other countries will also stand firm against China," Senator John F. Kennedy, a leading Republican in the United States, told an American channel. The United States and the international community must show the Chinese Communist Party that we were not created to follow their rules. Today, not a single country trusts China, but most countries are scared. China uses its economic power to annoy other countries.

"There are some exceptions, such as India, Canada, Australia, and Europe," Kennedy said.
