PM Modi will address India Global Week 2020 starting in UK today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate India Global Week 2020 today and address the session. Organized by Britain, this digital program is a testament to self-reliant India

A statement from the Prime Minister's Office said, "The theme of the three-day event is Be the Revival: India and a Better New World." It will address 5000 global participants from 30 countries, 250 global speakers in 75 sessions.

PM Modi tweeted, "I will address India Globe Week organized by India Inc. Corps at 1.30 pm today. The forum brings together global-minded leaders and industry leaders to revive the global economy in the wake of the Kovid-19 epidemic and discuss India's challenges in various dimensions.

The PMO's statement said that among the other speakers who participated in the planning was External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jayashankaras, Piyush Goyal, Minister for Railways, Commerce and Industry, GC Murmu, Vice-Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Sudduru, Founder of Isha Foundation and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Spiritual Leader.

British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab and Home Secretary Preeti Patel, US Ambassador to India Ken Juster will also attend the event. The event will feature a brilliant performance on Madhu Nataraja's 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' and a program of three of his distinguished student musicians paying homage to renowned sitar player Pandit Ravi Shankar on his 100th birthday.
