PM Modi to hold meeting with CMs on Korona issue today, discussion may take place on Unlock-3

The central government imposed a lockdown in March to curb the corona virus epidemic. The government then launched Unlock-1 and Unlock-2 in view of economic activities. Unlock-2 is going to end on 31st July. In this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can discuss with all the Chief Ministers of the state through video conferencing today so that future strategy can be worked out.

The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Modi, is likely to discuss Unlock-3, Corona's current status. According to a report, Home Minister Amit Shah and Health Minister Harsh Vardhan may also attend the meeting.

Meeting for the eighth time in Corona's time

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier on July 19 spoken to the Chief Ministers of Bihar, Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on the phone and discussed the Corona and flood situation. This will be the eighth meeting of the Prime Minister with the Chief Ministers today.

The number of people infected with the corona virus in India has crossed 1.4 million. In the last 24 hours, a record 49,931 new cases of corona virus have been reported, according to figures released by the Union Ministry of Health. This is the largest increase in the number of infected people in a single day. Meanwhile, about 708 people have lost their lives due to the dangerous virus.

A total of 14,35,453 people have been infected with Kovid-19 in the country so far out of which 9,17,568 patients have been discharged from the hospital after treatment. Apart from that, the number of active cases of corona in the country is 4,85,114 and so far 32,771 people have lost their lives due to the virus.
