Afghanistan has accused Pakistan of launching rocket attacks in human-populated areas. According to the Afghan News Agency, the Pakistani army fired rockets at a populated area in the Spin Boldak district of Kandahar. Nine civilians were killed and at least 50 were injured in what became known as the Cold War.

It is learned that the Afghan Ministry of Defense has directed the Afghan forces to be fully prepared for retaliation against the Pakistani army. A rocket attack by Pakistani troops on residential areas killed nine civilians and wounded more than 50 others, according to figures released by the defense ministry.

The head of the country's armed forces, General Mohammad Yasin Jia Levy, has directed all military forces, especially 205 Atal, 201 Salab and 203 Thunder camps, to be fully prepared to retaliate against the Pakistani army. Apart from that, Afghan forces are being equipped with heavy weapons.

A statement from the Afghan Defense Ministry said the air force and special forces, led by Mohammad Yassin Zia, had been placed on high alert. If the Pakistani military continues its rocket launchers on Afghan soil or in the air, it will have to face retaliation from the Afghan army.
