Most wanted Vikas Dubey of Kanpur massacre arrested, surrendered in Ujjain

Vikas Dubey, the main accused in the Kanpur shootout, has finally surrendered. Vikas Dubey has surrendered in Ujjain today after one Sagarito after another was shot dead.

Amar Dubey, a confidant of Vikas Dubey, was shot dead in an encounter on Wednesday while two more of his accomplices were shot dead in an encounter today.

Vikas Dubey snatched the receipt of the Mahakaleshwar temple and then surrendered. He has been arrested by the local police. UP police have confirmed the arrest of Vikas Dubey.

Earlier, Vikas Dubey announced that he would surrender to the media. He then surrendered before the local police near Mahakal in Ujjain. Following the news of the surrender, the STF team has left for Ujjain.

Prabhat Mishra and Bua Dubey were shot dead

Mishra was arrested by police from a hotel in Faridabad. Meanwhile, Prabhat was shot dead in an encounter while trying to escape from police custody. Regarding Prabhat Mishra's encounter, IG Mohit Agarwal said that a police team was coming from Faridabad with Prabhat when the tire of the vehicle got punctured on the way. Meanwhile, Prabhat was shot dead in an encounter while trying to snatch a police weapon. Several policemen were injured in the incident.

He said police had received a tip that Vikas Dubey was hiding in a hotel in Faridabad. A police team then raided the hotel. Where Vikas Dubey was not found but Prabhat Mishra and two other accused were arrested.

Another close relative of Vikas Dubey in Etawah, Boua Dubey, was also shot dead. According to police, Boua Dubey robbed a vehicle on the highway near Mahwani late last night with the help of three civilians. Police cordoned off Kachura Road in the Civil Line station area as soon as they got the news.

Meanwhile, firing started between the police and Boua Dubey. In which Bua Dubey was shot dead. However, three of his teammates managed to escape. Etawah police have alerted the surrounding district. Police placed a bounty of Rs 50,000 on Boua Dubey. He was also accused in the Kanpur shootout.
