ISI is using pro-Khalistan elements for terrorist activities in India: report

Canada, Ta. 10 July 2020, Friday

According to a report, two Canadian Sikhs whose names were placed on a no-fly list are now being linked to an alleged Pakistani conspiracy to use pro-Khalistan elements in the country. The names of these two Sikhs are Bhagat Singh Barar and Parvakar Singh Dulai. Both the Sikhs were banned from traveling by air.

According to a report by Stewart Bell in Canada Outlet Global News, Barar was promoting extremism in which young people were being taught fanaticism in order to liberate Khalistan. These included plans to attack, disarm and invade India. The report lists Dulai as a facilitator of terrorist activity.

According to reports, Barar had gone to Pakistan in 2015 and was planning to attack India with Gurjeet Singh Cheema. He collected money from gurdwaras and used a large portion of that fund for anti-India activities. He was associated with Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI while Dulai is also considered a supporter of Khalistan.

Then in the year 2018, Barar went to Pakistan once again and met his father Lakhveer Singh Rode. Lakhveer Singh was the nephew of General Singh Bhindarwala and the founder of the Bhindarwala International Sikh Youth Federation. No case has yet been proved in the court against Barar and Dulai in connection with terrorist activities. Both are also denying the allegations under a Canadian security document filed by lawyers in Canada.
