Infiltration near LoC in Kupwara foiled, security forces kill two militants

Jammu and Kashmir continues to be infiltrated by terrorists from across the border. Indian security forces have foiled a cross-border infiltration attempt by militants on the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district of north Kashmir. Security forces killed two militants during the operation.

According to police, security forces killed two militants at Handwada in Kupwara district of north Kashmir. An infiltration attempt by terrorists in the TMG sector was foiled early in the morning and the search operation is still ongoing.

In fact a suspicious movement was reported near the Line of Control in the naval sector of Baramulla on Saturday morning and the army took immediate action and shot dead two militants. Two AK-47s and other weapons used in the war have been seized from the two slain militants.

Earlier on July 1, security forces in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir had received intelligence of a militant infiltration. Terrorists were then seen infiltrating the LOC. However, the security forces deployed on the LOC thwarted the infiltration of the militants and thwarted one of the militants.

A joint operation was launched near the Line of Control (LoC) in Keri area of ​​Bhimber Gali sector in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on the basis of special intelligence provided by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. The militants were then seen crossing the Line of Control.

The infiltration attempt was then foiled by Indian Army vigilantes, which resulted in the death of a militant. Two magazines and an AK-47 were also seized.
