Indian Railways will prepare a new timetable

Railway Board Chairman VK Yadav said the decision was delayed due to the Corona virus but it would be implemented soon. According to the information received, in some cases, the stoppage of express and mail trains will be decided later. Before this, the officer will assess how many passengers get on and off at the stations where the train is not to stop.

Railways believe that reducing train stoppage will save passengers time. The Railway Board Chairman said that 151 trains will be operated by private companies which will be part of this zero based timetable. Railways is preparing some new plans for its operation.

A new timetable will be created for all trains based on Zero Based. The time table and frequency of all passenger trains will be decided once again.

The stoppage of railway mail, express, and some other trains will be reduced. The stoppage of some other express and mail trains will be decided later.

The station will be assessed before determining the stoppage. It will be seen how many passengers are moving at the stations where the train is not to stop. Reducing train stoppage will save passengers time. 151 trains will be operated by private companies.
