Increase in Corona cases in Australia, Pakistan and Singapore

Victoria's Premier Daniel Andrews has closed its border with neighboring New South Wales for the first time in 100 years, with 127 new cases of corona reported in the state.

The death toll from corona in the state has risen to 22 with 24 deaths in 24 hours. Now Victoria residents have to get permission to go to New South Wales.

Meanwhile, a lockdown was imposed on nine housing towers in Melbourne with a population of 3,000. Lockdowns have also been enforced in 12 other areas of Melbourne but strict lockdowns are being enforced for tower residents. Residents of the tower are barred from leaving their homes. Police are patrolling the area to enforce the lockdown.
