Eight police personnel were martyred due to the sin of a police officer, Dubey had informed the gang in advance

An encounter between police and notorious criminal Vikas Dubey's gang in a small village adjacent to UP's Kanpur district on Friday has sparked a nationwide uproar after eight police personnel were killed.

The Vikas Dubey gang had already received information that the police were going to strike, so as soon as the police convoy arrived, the thugs started firing at the police.

Explosive details have surfaced in the case that Dubey was informed in advance by a police officer. Another officer, a jawan and a homeguard are also under police suspicion.

About 50 police teams are searching for Vikas Dubey. Police have arrested 12 people and started interrogation.

More disturbing revelations have surfaced as the police retrieve the record details of Vikas Dubey's phone. According to him, the numbers of some police personnel whom Vikas Dubey spoke to in the last 224 hours have also come to light.

Dubey has now become the most wanted criminal for the UP police. Police have also announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for information leading to his capture.
