The spread of Corona virus in India is increasing at a bullet rate. As a result, the number of Corona cases has now crossed nine lakh. While 23,670 people have lost their lives so far.

In the last 24 hours alone, 26,289 new cases have been reported and a further 521 people have lost their lives. On the other hand, 15,914 people have been cured during the same period. At the same time, the recovery rate is also increasing.

If we look at the total statistics, the total cases of corona in the country have now crossed 9,01,171. While 5,68,543 people have been healed. If we look at the recovery rate, people in 19 states are succeeding in recovering faster.

The recovery rate in these 19 states is even higher than the country's average recovery rate of 63.02 per cent. The recovery rate in the country was earlier around 60 per cent, so as the number of cases is increasing, so is the number of people being healed.

Looking at the states, the recovery rate is 79.98 per cent in Delhi, 78.77 per cent in Uttarakhand, 77.68 per cent in Chhattisgarh, 76.59 per cent in Himachal Pradesh, 75.25 per cent in Haryana, 74.22 per cent in Rajasthan and 73.03 per cent in Madhya Pradesh.

While in Gujarat this percentage is 69.73 per cent which is less as compared to other big states but is considered higher than Uttar Pradesh. The recovery rate is 63.97 per cent in Uttar Pradesh and 64.66 per cent in Tamil Nadu. As on July 12, a total of 1,18,06,256 corona samples have been tested across the country. On Monday alone, 219103 samples were tested.

On the other hand, lockdown is being declared again in many states, after Bengaluru in Karnataka, two more districts in Dharwad and Kannada in the south have also been declared lockdown. The lockdown has been declared for one week and nine days in another district. While public gatherings are banned in Punjab, similar rules apply to weddings.

In Punjab, only 30 people, not 50, will be able to attend the wedding. A negligence has come to the fore in Madhya Pradesh, where two people died of corona three months ago in Indore, though a report on their deaths, released three months later on Monday, raises a number of questions.

As the figures are being released three months after the death, the opposition is also expressing doubts about the total number of corona cases being released by the government.

If we look at the total number of cases registered in the states, the highest number of cases of corona in Maharashtra had crossed 260924 by Monday, 142798 in Tamil Nadu and 113740 in Delhi. In Gujarat too, a total of 42808 cases of corona have been reported so far while 2057 people have lost their lives.
