China closes US embassy in Tibet, US retaliates in Houston

Packing / New Delhi Dated 24th July 2020 Friday

In response to the US ultimatum to vacate the Chinese embassy in Houston within 48 hours, China ordered the closure of the US consulate in Chengdu, Tibet.

Political experts believe that China has taken this step in response to the US stance on Tibet. The US Consulate General in Chengdu operates in several provinces of China. The embassy is also responsible for the autonomous region of Tibet. So China is believed to have taken this step to woo the US.

China has blamed the United States for the current tensions between the United States and China, and has demanded that Trump immediately rescind an order to close the Chinese embassy in Houston.

Earlier on Thursday, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo accused the Chinese consulate in Houston of being a stronghold of spies. We decided to close the Chinese Embassy in Houston this week. This embassy is constantly spying and has become a den of stealing America's intellectual property. He went on to say that China has stolen our business secrets and looted intellectual property, leaving thousands of young Americans unemployed. He lost his job.

It is noteworthy that there is a presidential election in the United States in November of this year and Donald Trump is committed to re-election at any cost. However Corona and other issues are expected to make their victory difficult.

Right now, it seems that the Cold War between the US and China was intensifying day by day.
