Ayodhya: Not two but three storey Ram temple to be built at a cost of Rs 100 crore

Construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya is scheduled to start from August.

However, some changes have been made in the map of the Ram temple at the last minute. A meeting of the Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust held on Saturday discussed Bhumi Pujan as well as some changes made in the map of the temple.

According to which it has been decided to make the temple bigger. Now the height of the temple will be 161 feet instead of 128. The number of domes of the temple has been increased from 3 to five. Now five gates will be kept for entry in the temple.

Earlier the temple was supposed to be two storeys but now it has been decided to make it three storeys to enhance the grandeur of the temple. All the old constructions of Ram temple complex will be demolished and new ones will be built. Sita temple will be built where Sita kitchen is now.

80000 square feet of stone has been carved for the temple and the same amount of stone will be required. It is estimated that the construction of the temple will cost Rs 100 crore and its construction will take three and a half years to complete.
