Army succeeds in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, three killed, including Jaish commander

The army has killed three militants in a clash in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces first cordoned off the militants and then shot them dead.

Indian security forces received information that terrorists were hiding in the area. A joint search operation was conducted by a team of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army and CRPF personnel. In the meantime, the militants started firing on the army convoy. In response, the Indian Army has killed all the three militants.

DGP Dilbag Singh said three Sen jawans were also injured in the clash and were undergoing treatment at a hospital. The militants killed belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammed, including a top commander who was an IEED expert and took direct orders from his aka sitting in Pakistan. And managed to escape by beating the troopers four times in the last two months.

Earlier, a militant was shot dead in Keran sector of Kupwada in Chhewada district of north Kashmir on Thursday night after failing to infiltrate. AK-47 was recovered from the terrorist.
