Allahabad HC rejects petition seeking ban on Ram Mandir Bhumi Pujan in Ayodhya

The way to worship the land of Ram temple in Ayodhya is now paved. The Allahabad High Court has rejected an application filed on August 5 against the proposed Bhumi Pujan for construction of a Ram temple. A division bench of the high court on Friday dismissed the petition after hearing it.

The court made it clear in its judgment that the points raised in the petition are based on conjecture and the apprehensions which have been expressed. It is baseless. At the same time, the High Court has directed the Ram Mandir Nirman Trust and the UP government to adhere to the guideline of Kovid-19 in the Bhumi Pujan program.

An application was filed in the Allahabad High Court against Rammandir Bhumi Pujan. The matter was heard by a division bench of Chief Justice Govind Mathur and Justice Soumitra Dayal Singh. Bhumi Pujan is a violation of the Covid-19 guideline, the petition said.
