After UP, now there are lockdowns in Srinagar, Pune, Madurai, Shillong and Bengaluru

Amid rising corona cases, lockdowns have once again been imposed in several regions and cities. In Uttar Pradesh, it has been decided to impose lockdown every Saturday and Sunday, while in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir, including Srinagar, the lockdown has been declared again from today.

Apart from that, it has been decided to implement lockdown in Pune, Maharashtra till July 23. The lockdown limit has also been extended for two days in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The lockdown in Madurai was scheduled to end today but has been extended to July 14. Shillong has also declared a lockdown for today and tomorrow.

Lockdown in the valley from today

A lockdown has been imposed in several areas of Jammu and Kashmir from today. The death toll from corona in the valley has risen over the past two weeks, according to the administration. Because of this the authorities again requested for the lockdown to be enforced and the lockdown has been enforced on the basis of that request.

Lockdown in Pune till July 23

The corona crisis is becoming more acute in Maharashtra. Apart from Mumbai, the number of patients in Pune is also increasing rapidly. The Pune administration has announced a lockdown from today till July 23. The full lockdown will be applicable in Pune from July 14 to 18 while some exemptions will be given in the lockdown from July 19 to 23.

Lockdown from July 14 in Bengaluru

Corona cases are on the rise in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. As per the decision of the state government, the lockdown will be in force from 8 pm on July 14 to 5 am on July 22. No exemptions will be granted except for essential services during that time.
