After his visit to Leh, PM Modi met President Ramnath Kovind and discussed the issue

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Rashtrapati Bhavan at 11:30 am on Sunday to meet President Shri Ramnath Kovind. The meeting, which lasted for about half an hour, did not reveal the exact details of the meeting. But according to a report, the Prime Minister and the President may have discussed a number of national and international issues. The Prime Minister is also believed to have discussed with the President the situation prevailing between India and China on the border.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned from Leh two days ago. Prime Minister Modi suddenly reached Leh on Friday and addressed the troops deployed on the border. He then also visited the wounded soldiers. They reached Nimu in Ladakh on Friday morning which comes from Leh to Dras side. It is considered the forward location of the border.

At the time, the Prime Minister also spoke with Army, Air Force and ITBP personnel. The Prime Minister also received updates on the current state of the border from Officer Harinder Singh.
