Abandoned child released in Gonda, woman seeking Rs 4 crore ransom also arrested

The grandson of a businessman abducted from Gonda in Uttar Pradesh has been recovered by the police. Police have also nabbed a young woman seeking a ransom of Rs 4 crore in the abduction case.

At the same time 4 people have been arrested in this whole incident. The entire case was solved by the UP police within hours of the abduction and there were reports of clashes with police miscreants before the arrest.

The government has given a reward of Rs 2 lakh to the STF team for recovering the abducted child. There are also reports of two thugs being shot in the leg in the clash. UP ADG (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar said two criminals Umesh Yadav and Dipu Kashyap were injured in the police operation. Apart from that, Suraj Pandey, Chhavi Pandey and his brother have been arrested.

Police have seized an Alto vehicle in the case and also recovered a pistol and two pistols from the culprits. The injured kidnappers are currently undergoing treatment. The police will take further action after providing medical service to the miscreants. Apart from that, action will also be taken against others involved in the case.

The government has announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for local police and STF. Police are currently conducting a combing operation in the entire area and all the culprits involved in the case have been arrested. The main abductor and a woman in the case are currently in police custody.

According to the details of the case, the son of a trader was abducted at Gonda. Under the pretext of distributing masks, the criminals kidnapped the businessman's son and demanded ransom. A team from the police administration and STF launched an investigation after the abduction came to light.
