34 years after the Consumer Protection Act was amended

The Consumer Protection Act 1986 has been changed by the Government of India in 34 years. The new Act has now come into force under the name of India Consumer Protection Act-2019. 10 crore provision has now been made against the provision of 1 crore compensation. The Consumer Protection Act has changed in 34 years.

The new law has now received recognition from the District Commission. The District Forum has now made a provision of Rs 1 crore against the compensation provision of Rs 20 lakh and the State Commission has now made provision of Rs 10 crore against the provision of Rs 1 crore.

Provision has now been made for a District Commissioner's Complaint against the High Court provision for the public interest of consumers. As well as this important provision, the law now provides for a case against a product that makes high claims by misleading consumers by taking the product and against adulteration and disrupting health protection. The sale of such harmful items has become law enforcement with fines and penalties.
