For this, detailed discussions were held with the local administration earlier. After the local body said yes, we requested the Central Government to sanction the cost for this. Approved by the Central Government.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on October 23, 2016 for the renovation of this ancient temple in the Red Bazaar area of Nataur, United News of Bangladesh said in a report.

The Bengali people and most of the people living in Bangladesh believe in Mahakali Mata. Even in West Bengal, the glory of Kali Puja was already present by the Siddha Purusha Ramakrishna Paramahansa. There is a Kali temple in the area known as Kalighat even today and it has great glory. Crowds of devotees live here for many months.

However, due to Corona, the temple is not as crowded as it used to be.
