UP: Important decision of Saharanpur administration due to Corona, full lockdown will be implemented every Sunday

With the rise of positive cases of corona in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the district administration has taken a very important decision regarding the lockdown. A complete lockdown will be applicable every Sunday in Saharanpur from now on. However medical emergencies and milk shops will be allowed to remain open.

In view of the increasing number of corona cases in Saharanpur over the last few days, the administration has decided to hold a complete lockdown in Saharanpur every Sunday. According to DM Akhilesh Singh, a complete lockdown will be strictly observed in the district.

No one is allowed to transport

Akhilesh Singh, District Officer, Saharanpur, said that the graph of corona transition in Saharanpur district has increased over the last few days. Trouble has increased due to our rush from Delhi, Ghaziabad and Meerut. Due to this, a complete lockdown will be enforced in the district on Sunday and no one will be allowed to do our work. Passes will be arranged for those who need to exit.

He further said that during the complete lockdown on Sunday, only those who provide milk, emergency services, emergency hospital services will be allowed to remain open. Apart from that, grocery, vegetable, fruit etc. shops will be completely closed on Sunday.

Saharanpur is still in the red zone and the total number of active cases in Corona is 80. So far 337 cases of corona have been reported in Saharanpur out of which 257 patients were discharged from the hospital after recovering. The total number of hotspots in Saharanpur is 12 at present.
