UP: Another record in Korona crisis, CM Yogi Adityanath will provide employment to 1 crore people

UP CM Yogi Adityanath is going to set a record by taking one more step in the interest of migrant workers. CM Yogi will simultaneously employ 10 million people on June 26. PM Modi will also be present at the Uttar Pradesh government's program. They will be involved in the program through virtual means. The program will not only provide employment to migrant workers but also provide loans for MSMEs. In this way, UP will be the first state in the country to provide such a large number of jobs.

The government has done skill mapping of migrant workers

A large number of migrant workers have returned to the region. The government has compiled a complete data bank of skill mapping of 36 lakh migrant workers during the Koro crisis. So far, the Yogi government has provided a large number of jobs. The figure will cross 1 crore on June 26. The Yogi government is employing these workers on a large scale in sectors like MSME, Expressway, Highway, UPDA and MNREGA. 31 districts of Uttar Pradesh have been included in this big campaign.

From this employment campaign in the region Gonda, Balrampur, Ambedkar Nagar, Amethi, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bahraich, Banda, Basti, Deoria, Fatehpur, Ghazipur, Gorakhpur, Hardoi, Jalon, Jaunpur, Kaushambi, Khiri, Kushinagar, Maharajpur, Maharajganj , Rae Bareli, Santkabir Nagar, Shravasti, Siddharthnagar, Sitapur, Sultanpur, Unnao and Varanasi districts will be connected.

Employment creation has been done in the region

Amidst the return of tourists and the Koro crisis, CM Yogi Adityanath directed the authorities to prepare for employment and rehabilitation. After which some companies demanded skilled workers from the government's data bank. Recently, garment units from Noida have demanded more than 3 lakh works from the government. The MSME sector will also be given a list of skilled workers as per the demand.

Use of funds received from PM Care Fund

The Uttar Pradesh government has allocated Rs 52 crore from the PM-Care Fund. This amount will be spent on employment and rehabilitation of migrant workers. The central government had sought information on a separate account from the state government for allocating Rs 1,000 crore between the states from the PM-care fund. A separate account was opened for the state disaster management authority. Now more than Rs 52.51 crore received by the central government to the PM Care Fund will be spent for the betterment of migrant workers.
